The race the whole world watches……

One of the most exciting things about the Iditarod is that almost everyone in the world is interested in it. Every March, reporters and photographers from around the world;  newspaper, television, and magazines, are out on the trail. You can even catch all the excitement live on ESPN.  Watch your Mushers race down Front Street and cross the finish line.

Students will enjoy following the actual race, making their journal entries, communicating with their pen pals, and participating in the activities provided in this WebQuest.
