Technology Levy Classroom Project Proposal
and Request for Equipment and Training Form
Created by Roberta A. Johnson
Updated Fall, 2001

Only by framing our teaching around valued questions
and worthy performances can we overcome activity-based and coverage-oriented
instruction, and the resulting rote learning that produces formulaic answers and
surface-level knowledge.

| The Project Proposal should define how groups of students, using technology as a learning tool, would address a curriculum related authentic project. Current technology should be critical to the process and help broaden students’ understanding. Project proposals should integrate as many curricular areas as applicable. This may happen within a classroom or across departments. The project should include a culminating activity. | ||
