Using NCTM Resources to Help Students Meet Math Standards
Learn how to use the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics Illuminations web site to involve students in online multimedia math investigations that help them meet math standards. Participants will learn to translate the NCTM Principles and Standards for School Mathematics into classroom practice. Participants will review the math investigations at the Illuminations site and prepare strategies for use in the classroom.

· Plan a unit or lesson using online multimedia math investigations
· Design an instructional management system that promotes student use
of NCTM online math resources
