Over recent weeks, the number of crimes against foreigners living in East Timor has been increasing. Foreigners have been victims of robbery and stabbing attacks by East Timorese. East Timor is currently under the administration of the United Nations and is expected to become fully independent next year.

This picture shows that the U.N. wasn't too interested in the situation.
