General:
Busy Teacher's Website  Teaching materials, lessons, classroom activities, and ways in which to get in touch with classrooms around the country and the world.
Classroom Connect  Great site for educators. Lesson plans, chat rooms, resources, and materials that are for sale designed for educators by educators. Check this out! They also have updates on their excellent education conferences and you can subscribe to their Newsletter which is a wonderful resource.
Eric and Ask Eric  The federally funded Educational Research Information Center which is a clearinghouse for the National Library of Education. You can get articles here.
EDSITEment  Humanities site which provides online learning guides and links. There are monthly feature topics, lesson plans, games, quizzes and a parent component.
Global SchoolNet Foundation  This is an original site to the net which has joined with Lightspan. It provides teachers with online projects, information and more. This is definitely the place to look for classroom projects. Click on the project icon to find the material.
Internet Connections  Education site maintained by McRel, (The Mid-Continental Regional Education Laboratories). Links to special connections, education resources, subject area resources, resources by site, and Internet resources. This is a great site for professional growth as well as lesson plans, etc.
Kathy Schrock's Guide for Educators  This is a well known resources for teachers. The site includes great links, lesson ideas, tutorials and downloadable presentations. Take the time to browse this site and use the materials.
Learning Space  This is a site built and maintained by teachers for teachers. Many Seattle teachers are involved in this project. There is good material for you here.
Mustang  Ahh, the purr of a well operating engine, the feel of the breeze through your hair! You're off on the Internet highway with Mustang, a site which gives you tips and tricks to navigate the Web.
Northwest Regional Educational Laboratories  This site provides assistance to educators in the north western states of America. it is dedicated to improving education for teachers, youth and adults. There are many resources to be found here.

K-1  This website is designed for Kindergarten and First grade teachers. It includes recent research, teacher tips, lesson plans.

The Math Forum for teachers K-2 is a site which offers lesson plans, activities and more.
K-2 Projects is a site which has links to projects appropriate for primary grades. It is sponsored by Region 20 Education District in Texas.
K-2 Resources is a sight that offers many links to Internet activities for primary grade students.
The Virtual Creatures Website is sponsored by the National Science Foundation which offers a new way of interacting with creatures online.
Science Lesson Plans. This site is a source of lesson plans that are developed to teach literacy through science.

K-2 Internet Field Trips from Scholastic.
Weather Watchers is an online activity developed for K-2 which has all of the links you need to watch the weather around the world.
The K-2 Handbook is a site which was developed by the Chicago Public Schools that contains assessment tools for teacher use.
The Magic School Bus  This is a wonderful site for teachers to learn integration ideas for CD ROM and Internet resources relating to the Magic School Bus books and videos. Students can do online activities and publish their own artwork as well. 

Tutoring:
Tutor Match  A public service site that helps match tutors and students in any subject. It is a global site and offers teachers and tutors the opportunity to post their resume for free on the Internet. Then, students or teachers may browse the available tutors and read their educational and work backgrounds. If the tutor on the data base looks like he or she would be good for your needs you email or phone the tutor to talk about potential tutoring arrangements.
