Whales: A Thematic Unit This site contains teacher resources, student activities and projects. Maintained by the teacher and students who write the materials.

Santa Ana Zoo This is a beautiful exhibit of rain forest flora and fauna. It is designed to show the destruction of the rain forest.
Rainforest Action Network This site is designed to educate and have a special section for students. It covers the Amazon and the Redwoods as well as informing about what a rain forest is.

Weather:
Tornado Project Online Lots of facts about tornadoes as well as personal experiences, safety tips and the latest tornado news.
USA Today Weather Includes current weather information as well as teaching about weather phenomenon. It includes a question and answer section and a weather almanac.

Animals:
International Wolf Center

Virtual Frog Dissection Kit This site is from Lawrence Berkley Labs and is designed to allow high school or middle school students dissect frogs. There are also movies, games and tutorials which are in several languages.
Tiger Information Center Dedicated to protecting the five remaining subspecies of tigers, this site has lots of interactivity.
